I am experiencing problems with my hosting, where can I get support?

Do you overcharge on Bandwidth/Transfer?

No, we do not, whenever you go over your limit your account will be disabled.
You can then contact us via the support desk and upgrade your package if needed.

What happens when I reach my bandwidth limit?

When you reach your limit your account will become suspended.
We encrourage you to upgrade your package when reaching your bandwidth limit multiple times.
Upgrading your account can be done free of charge through the support desk.

What/Where are the tools to manage my website?

Our system uses the Cpanel Web Management System.
Here is a list of the locations where you can find your management tools:

- Webmail: http://www.YOURDOMAIN.COM/webmail
- pop3/Smtp server: mail.YOURDOMAIN.COM

There also is a filemanager on Cpanel and your FTP. Ftp is used to upload your files to your website.

Can I buy extra features(more space, bandwidth, ect)?

Yes, you can buy extra features for your account. For upgrades to your account, contact the Support Center.

Can I host adult sites?

No, we do not allow any adult content to be hosted on our servers. Hosting child porn or any other form of illegal content will leave us no choice but to report you to the proper authorities.

Can I host warez/cracks sites?

Warez and Cracks may not be hosted on our webspace, indexing is not allowed.

Can I upgrade/downgrade my account?

You can always upgrade your account free of charge.
There is a $5 service charge fee for downgrading within the first 3 months of creation of a new account.
Please contact support if you wish to upgrade/downgrade.

What are your nameservers?

Our nameservers are:
ns1.e-pacohosting.com and ns2.e-pacohosting.com
You need to properly set the nameservers in your domain configuration location.
If it is incorrectly entered into your configuration, your domain will not be able to resolve to our servers.

How do I access my email?

You can access your email by pop3 or webmail.
The Most Popular Pop3 Email Programs Are: Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird.
Webmail can be located at www.YOURDOMAIN.COM/webmail
Where YOURDOMAIN.COM is the domain you registered with us(or addon domain).

How do I make a new email address?

You can create a new email address by logging in to Cpanel at www.YOURDOMAIN.COM/cpanel where YOURDOMAIN.COM is your domain.
Click on the 'Mail'' icon in Cpanel and select 'Manage/Add/Remove Accounts'. From there you can add new email addresses.

What are the pop3 settings for email?

After you make an email account, setup your mail program with the following details:
Pop3 server: mail.YOURDOMAIN.COM
smtp server: mail.YOURDOMAIN.COM
Where YOURDOMAIN.COM is your domain.
Fill in the same username and password you filled in on cpanel email account menu.

Is there webmail?

Yes, at http://www.YOURDOMAIN.COM/webmail .
Where YOURDOMAIN.COM is your domain.

Do you support mailing lists?

Yes, select Mailing Lists in your Cpanel Mail Menu. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for our policies on mailing lists.

What are FTP and SSH?

FTP is short for File Transfer Protocol.
It is used all over internet to upload and download files.
You will need to use this to upload files to your webspace.
SSH is short for Secure SHell.
It is a way to run applications on a remote server.

Do I have SSH/Shell access? And how?

SSH is only available for users who request it. There is a one time 5USD Service fee for activation.
It is deactivated by default, but can be requested through the Support Desk.
You can connect to SHH/Shell using a program called PUTTY.

How can I connect using FTP?

FTP is used to upload files to your website.
First you need a special program to connect to FTP.
We recommend SmartFTP, coreftp, or FileZilla to connect to your domain name.
You should upload your files in the public_html folder for them to become viewable on the site.

How do I change my Nameserver Records?

You have to change your nameservers where you have registered your domain.
